To provide support and connection in these challenging times of rapid change and uncertainty, we have developed a series of fun online experiences. Flash Classes are quick, downloadable exercises and lessons designed to accelerate the process of awakening. They include an instructional video, an audio guided meditation, and a lesson.
Christmas can be a special time of year in so many ways, especially when you choose to be in the present moment. A great way to prepare yourself for the celebration is to take a few minutes and examine any baggage you are bringing with you. Because Christmas is so emotionally charged for many of us, it is the perfect time to examine old belief systems and release the ones that no longer serve you. Traditions and nostalgia are important aspects of the holiday, but by letting go of your attachment to them, you are free to create a holiday that is meaningful to you. Christmas is an opportunity to remember that state of innocence and belief in possibilities that lie within us all. When you make the choice to let go and just be in the present moment, you are offering yourself and others the best of presents: your presence.
To get the most out of the exercises it is recommended that you choose to invest in yourself. Dedicate time daily to meditate or practice some form of renewal, even if it is only for five or ten minutes a day. Create a sacred space for your inner work.
This past year has offered unique challenges for all of us. In the midst of constant change it becomes even more important to learn how to practice self care as a priority. Being willing to set aside dedicated time for yourself allows for renewal of your own energy. Meeting your own needs in this way creates the space to balance, if just for a short time. Self care takes many forms and part of the fun of this experience is to discover what resonates with you. The intention you bring to the activity you choose is far more important than the activity itself. Going through the motions of self care doesn’t change the energy, but when you are present with your awareness and intention, the quality of the experience changes as well. By holding the idea of supporting yourself, you begin to open the door to self love and the freedom and inner peace we all seek. As you choose to practice self care as a priority you can avoid the burn out that always occurs when we give out more energy than we take in.
